I hope you saw the sunshine on this beautiful Friday and had hope in your heart for better days ahead. I know I did! You are all in my thoughts and prayers as we continue to navigate this very uncertain season.

A couple of exciting updates:

  1. Our long-awaited order of hand sanitizer was delivered yesterday! Chris will begin delivering these with his normal weekly rounds.
  2. A super awesome NPLH nurse is part of a sewing group and has delivered a limited supply of adorable reusable masks. They have an opening in the bottom where a filter can be inserted. Because we do not have enough for everyone, they will be available on a first come, first serve basis at the office. If you would like to pick one up, please call the office to let us know you are coming. Once you arrive, give us a call and someone will deliver it to your car.
  3. Several companies have collaborated to provide ventilator training to healthcare providers during the pandemic. I downloaded the app this morning and it has some great resource videos, quick start guides, and manuals. The Trilogy 100/200 and LTV 1200 are included. To find those resources you will need to look under Ventilators and click on Philips for Trilogy or Vyaire for LTV information. The app is provided at no cost to medical professionals. To download the Ventilator Training Alliance knowledge hub application, visit the Apple App Store or Google Play store, or click here to access the hub from any Web browser.

Remember to notify the office immediately if you are experiencing fever, cough, or shortness of breath. Do not report to work without further guidance. As always, we are so grateful for each you!
